Great FoodWalking into Three Forks is like stepping into the greatest steakhouse you have ever visited or could imagine to dine at. Wood paneled walls, deep leather booths, the wafting scent of seared steak, tabacoo and wine. Upon inspecting the extensive wine list, we selected a choice Napa bottle of Merlot. There are excellent vintages prices from under $40 to well over $500. Thus, a little bit of everything for everyone. The menu offers an array of appetizers and salads to get your palate started. We began with the bacon wrapped scallops and the Wedge Salad. The scallops were the best I had ever had. Not only was the bacon perfectly crispy, but the scallops were cooked beautifully, silky in the middle. The Wedge was excellent with crisp bacon and chunks of blue cheese. For a main we had the 8oz filet, which was magnificent. So tender and cooked exactly as ordered. The New York strip was a perfectly textured cut that melted in your mouth. For sides we enjoyed the asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. The mushrooms melted in your mouth with their decadent wine glaze, while the almond topped asparagus was cooked to perfection. Though we did not partake in the excellent desert selection, their cappuccinos are addictive. Combined with a glass of Port, Dessert Wine or Grand Marnier, all of which we tried, will top off the greatest of evenings as one that will never be forgotten. Was this review helpful to you? 00
